Working with electricity is an everyday thing, but we often take this for granted. There are lots of dangers when working with electricity. It’s essential to be aware of these and carry out practices to stay safe. Here, we will look at a few of the dangers of electricity and the steps we can take to prevent accidents from happening.

What does the course cover?
- The knowledge about voltage, current and amps.
- What legislation that is relevant to working with electricity
- How to calculate Voltage, current and know which fuses to use for certain appliances

- Know about the current legislation that is in place that sets everyone their own duties to work safely with electricity
- Understand the dangers associated with work with electricity
- Know the difference between RCD's and MCB's

Test & Certification
At the end of the Working with Electricity in the Workplace training, you will be given a multiple-choice test. The required pass rate is 85%. You will be able to download and print a digital certificate on completion of the course. This certificate is valid for three years.

The course will take approximately 75 minutes to complete, excluding the final exam.
