Many organisations have employees who work remotely or alone as part of their day to day job. A lone or remote worker may be exposed to situations in which they are left alone with customers or other members of the public during their working day. By taking this course you will be taking steps towards minimising risks and feeling safer.

Introduction to Lone Working
Employer and Employee Responsibilities
Assessing the Risks
What lone working is and why is it as issue
What responsibilities your employer has to you and what responsibilities you have too
How to assess your own situation each time you work alone
Basic process of how peoples roles are assessed to see what potential risks exist
Test and Certification:
At the end of the course you will be given a test of 20 multiple choice questions. The required pass rate is 85%.
You will be able to download and print (if required) a digital certificate on completion of the course.
Main course certificates last 3 years. (Refresher courses are available and recommended every 12 months).
All our courses have been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
Main Course: Approximately 30 minutes (excluding time taken for the final exam).
Refresher Course: Approximately 20 minutes (excluding time taken for the final exam).
