ETD Training are delighted to announce that three new courses have been added to the online training portal. These courses are The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015; The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations – The Principal Designer and Designers; The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations – The Client.

The aim of the CDM Regulations is to minimise the risk of serious injuries and workplace fatalities on construction sites by ensuring health and safety issues are appropriately considered during the development of projects. Construction continues to be one of the most dangerous industries in the UK.

Comments Managing Director Phil Gutteridge: “We are delighted to expand the range of online health and safety training courses on offer. Since relaunching the ETD Training platform last September to accommodate higher levels of users we are focusing on building upon our comprehensive suite of video-based courses to meet the needs of all businesses, large or small.”

ETD Training in Clun, Shropshire, relaunched their health and safety e-learning portal in September 2019 with more than 30 approved accredited courses written by industry experts, which cover all up to date legislation in line with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

The new website features a more streamlined and user-friendly interface for showcasing all of ETD's courses - from manual handling and fire safety to working with Display Screen Equipment and lone and remote working. The new site is also fully mobile responsive, which meets a growing demand for mobile training.

The business aims to provide cost-effective and convenient online training to safeguard workplaces across all industrial and business sectors. ETD Training currently provide 500 businesses with online training, regionally and across the UK, including global brands McDonald’s and FCUK. ETD Training is a trading name of patient handling equipment manufacturing firm Hospital Direct.
